SPD's anti-illegal drugs operations net P2.3-M narcotics
The Southern Police District (SPD) confiscated illegal drugs worth P2.3 million and arrested 78 individuals during its week-long campaign against illegal drugs from Dec. 15 to 21.
SPD Director Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo said that among those arrested were three high-value individuals (HVIs) and five street-level individuals (SLIs) following a series of intelligence-driven operations conducted by police stations across Southern Metro Manila.

Arceo said the operations led to the seizure of 316.81 grams of shabu, 199.3 grams of marijuana, and 130.81 grams of kush.
Based on the valuation of the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB), the seized drugs have an estimated standard drug price of P2,356,394.
The SPD chief said these accomplishments reflect the district’s continuing commitment to safeguarding communities and reducing illegal drug activities through strategic enforcement operations, strengthened inter-agency coordination, and proactive community involvement.
Arceo also acknowledged the vital role of public cooperation in providing information and supporting law enforcement initiatives throughout the district.
