1 dead, 3 hurt in motorcycle collision

CEBU CITY – A man died and three others were injured in a collision between two motorcycles on a highway in Carmen town, northern Cebu province.
The crash happened around 4 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 22.
Police said a certain Jun, who drove a Suzuki Smash, died in the road crash. Injured were a certain Mar, the driver of a Yamaha NMax, and his two back riders.
Investigation by the Carmen Municipal Police Station showed that the two motorcycles were travelling in opposition directions when the accident occurred.
Police said the Suzuki motorcycle attempted to turn left when it was hit by the oncoming Yamaha NMax.
The impact threw the riders off the two motorcycles.
The riders were brought to the Cebu Provincial Hospital-Danao City where the driver of the Suzuki Smash was declared dead.
