Prepare early for business permit renewal, Parañaque LGU tells business owners

The Parañaque city government has reminded business owners to prepare early for the 2026 business permit renewal to ensure uninterrupted operations and full compliance with local regulations.
Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez said the renewal period is scheduled from Jan. 5 to 20, 2026, and encouraged business owners to complete their applications within the prescribed schedule based on the last digit of their Business Identification Number (BIN) to avoid long lines and penalties.
Atty. Melani Soriano-Malaya, head of the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), said to guide taxpayers, business owners were advised to check the step-by-step renewal process posted on the Parañaque Public Information Office (PIO) Facebook page and to carefully review all requirements to ensure a smooth and hassle-free transaction.
Malaya also said that guidelines for businesses applying for retirement or closure are likewise available on the PIO Facebook page.
She added that for the 2026 Mayor’s Permit renewal, the mandatory submission of CCTV installation compliance is required in accordance with City Ordinance No. 14-03, as part of the city’s ongoing efforts to promote public safety and security.
Business owners are encouraged to renew on time to remain compliant and business-ready for 2026.
