Birthday celebrant shot in Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A man who was on his way home to celebrate his birthday was allegedly shot by an 18-year-old man along the bypass road here on Saturday evening, Dec. 20.
Police identified the victim as Nixeus Retutar Enriquez, 21.
Enriquez was allegedly shot by 18-year-old Dean Mark Manolis Tolentino who was reportedly waiting along the side of the road with a companion.
The suspect and his companion fled on board a motorcycle.
Enriquez, despite his wounds, reported the incident and identified Tolentino to the police. The victim was taken to the hospital.
Police are hunting the suspects.
