Autopsy bares Cabral cause of death

Blunt traumatic injury consistent with fall cited

BAGUIO CITY – Blunt traumatic injury consistent with a fall was the cause of death of former Public and Works and Highways Undersecretary Maria Catalina Cabral.
This was revealed in an autopsy conducted by Police Major Nolan Genova, autopsy team leader of the Police Regional Office Cordillera-Regional Forensic Unit-Cordillera Administrative Region.
The autopsy was conducted the Cordillera Serenity Memorial in Barangay Irisan, Baguio City from 12:02 a.m. to 3:45 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20.
It was witnessed by Cabral’s husband, Engr. Cesar.
Cesar approved the procedure after consultation with family and lawyers.
