‎Women legislators share blessings In Christmas outreach

‎ ‎‎The Association of Women Legislators Foundation, Inc. (AWLFI) extended warmth and compassion to patients at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) and National ‎Center for Mental Health (NCMH) during a Christmas outreach program held last Thursday, December 18. 
‎
‎Pangasinan 4th District Representative Gina de Venecia and Bulacan 4th the District Representative Linabelle Villarica, co-Presidents of the 90-strong AWLFI, led the turnover ceremony for the P500,000 check donation for the treatment of pediatric cancer patients at the PGH-Cancer Institute and a new refrigerator for the ‎Women and Children Protection Unit at the NCMH.
‎
‎The women solons also treated patients of both hospitals with packed lunch and assorted gift items. PGH and NCMH are among the beneficiaries of their recent fundraiser “PamasCONG Handog: Garage Sale for a Cause IV” held at the House of Representatives.
