The Muntinlupa police arrested four men and seized P136,000 worth of shabu and marijuana in a buy-bust operation on Dec. 18.
Police operatives from the Station Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the operation in a house on Bautista Street in Barangay Bayanan.
The principal suspect, identified as alias Impe, 28, was arrested for the illegal sale and possession of dangerous drugs. He is a resident of Bautista Street in the barangay.
Also taken into custody were alias Daniel, 25, a resident of Bautista Street in Barangay Bayanan; Michael, 20, a resident of LNB 2 Compound in Barangay Alabang; and Emmanuel, 31, a resident of Bautista Street in Bayanan.
Seized during the operation were four plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 16.94 grams valued at P113,228, and three plastic sachets containing dried marijuana leaves weighing 193.44 grams valued at P23,212.80 along with the marked buy-bust money.
The suspects are under police custody and will face complaints for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
The illegal drugs were submitted for forensic laboratory examination.
Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, district director of the Southern Police District, said, “This operation underscores our sustained drive to dismantle illegal drug activities in our communities. The SPD will continue to intensify operations to ensure safer, drug-free neighborhoods for our residents.”
