The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday, December 18, announced the new licensed teachers who passed the September and November 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LET).
Based on PRC data, a total of 79,696 new teachers passed the September and November 2025 LET. Of this number, 21,967 elementary teachers successfully passed the exam, while 57,729 secondary teachers earned their professional licenses.

The PRC said most of the successful examinees were first-time takers, with 19,924 first-time takers passing at the elementary level and 52,207 first-time takers at the secondary level. The remaining passers were repeaters.
The LET was administered on September 21 and November 30 in 45 testing centers across the Philippines, as well as in Hong Kong and Thailand, allowing thousands of aspiring educators to qualify for professional practice both locally and abroad.
According to the PRC, the results were released within 63 working days, reflecting the timely processing of examination outcomes.
The PRC added that the results of 49 examinees remain temporarily withheld pending the resolution of administrative matters, while three others are subject to further document verification.
The Board for Professional Teachers, led by Chairperson Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, with Vice Chairperson Dr. Paz I. Lucido and Member Dr. Paraluman R. Giron, supervised the conduct and release of the examination results.
Successful LET passers are advised to await the PRC’s announcement on the registration schedule for the Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration, as well as the dates and venues of the oathtaking ceremonies, which will be released separately.
