The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) launched the QCPD Kids Care Program on Tuesday, Dec. 16, as it marked its Year-End Thanksgiving Party 2025 at the QCPD Grandstand in Camp Karingal.
It highlights the police force’s commitment not only to public service but also to the welfare of its personnel and their families.
Led by QCPD Acting District Director PCOL Randy Glenn Silvio, the event carried the theme “Pasko ng Pag-asa: Serbisyong May Puso, Tapat, at Nararamdaman”.
The QCPD Kids Care initiative aims to provide sustained care, support, and assistance to the children of QCPD personnel, particularly those with special needs and medical conditions.
Quezon City Mayor Ma. Josefina “Joy” Belmonte graced the occasion and led the ceremonial gift-giving of “Pamaskong Handog” to program beneficiaries.
Mayor Belmonte lauded the QCPD for its dedication to maintaining peace and order while extending care to its own ranks.
“Thank you to our police officers. Naging instrumental kayo sa dami ng awards na natanggap ng Quezon City, kabilang ang Most Business-Friendly City(Thank you to our police officers. You have been instrumental in the many awards Quezon City has received, including Most Business-Friendly City),” Belmonte said.
The celebration also featured family-oriented activities, including dance contests, cultural performances, parlor games, raffle draws, and a magic show, fostering camaraderie among QCPD personnel and reinforcing the importance of family support within the organization.
