For the semifinal round to select the top 7, two contestants pitted each other. From the two, the judges would select the winner.
The second match saw Dorado (No. 59) competing with Kyuri (No. 18). Dorado performed Korean singer Roy Kim’s “Only Then” while Kyuri sang K-pop girl group KARA’s “Mr.”
The judges reacted enthusiastically to Dorado’s performance which was filled with delicate expressions of emotion and heightened feelings.
Dorado, who turned 21 this month, impressed judges again with her powerful voice.
Judge Kim Eana said, “Every time I judge Dorado, I feel like I’m giving her a thank you after seeing her concert in Korea rather than feeling that I’m participating in an audition.”

In the end, Dorado received six votes from the judges while Kyuri got two votes. With this, Dorado advanced to the finals.
