CAMP MARCELO A. ADDURU, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – Police Regional Office-2 chief Police Brig. Gen. Antonio Marallag Jr. inducted 411 newly promoted police officers in the Cagayan Valley region on Monday, Dec. 15.
Promotees – six police commissioned officers (PCOs) and 405 police non-commissioned officers (PNCOs) – came from the PRO-2 regional headquarters, Cagayan Police Provincial Office (CPPO), Regional Mobile Force Battalion-2, and national support units.
Promotions were granted under the Calendar Year 2025 Regular Promotion Program.
Marallag congratulated the newly promoted police officers and underscored the responsibilities that come with higher ranks. He urged them to uphold professionalism and integrity in the service.
“Rank is not a privilege; it is a responsibility,” Marallag said, encouraging the officers to lead with integrity, humility, and dedication in serving the public.
“As we serve in the PNP, we commit to service that is Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman, always considering the welfare of the people, our peers, and our subordinates. Continue to lead with integrity, humility, and wisdom,” he added.
