3 drug pushers arrested with P714K worth of shabu in Baseco Compound

Three high-value individuals (HVIs) involved in illegal drug activities were arrested following a successful buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the Manila Police District – Police Station 13 (MPD-PS13).
The operation was carried out at Block 9, Tambakan, Baseco Compound, Port Area, Manila.
The suspects were identified as alias “Nash,” 31 years old; alias “Aima,” 34 years old, both residents of Tambakan, Block 9; and alias “Ria,” 41 years old, a resident of Block 1, Aplaya, Baseco.
According to Lt. Col. Rommel Anicete, the three suspects are considered major players in the illegal drug trade in the Baseco area and have long been classified as high-value individuals on the police watchlist.
Seized from the suspects were four plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with a total estimated weight of 105 grams and an estimated street value of P714,000.
The suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, particularly Sections 5 (Illegal Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and 11 (Illegal Possession of Dangerous Drugs).
They are currently detained at MPD-PS13 pending further investigation and filing of formal charges.
