Suspects steal P326K in Silang, Cavite meat shop heist

CAVITE – A meat shop in Barangay Biga 2 in Silang was robbed on Monday, Dec. 15, with the suspects taking P326,308 in cash.
A report from the Police Regional Office 4A said the crime was reported by the meat shop’s cashier, who discovered the break-in upon arrival at the store at around 4:50 a.m.
Initial investigation revealed that two male suspects reportedly cut the roll-up shutters and broke the glass door to enter the meat shop.
The suspects opened the store’s vault and took the cash as well as a mobile device.
Authorities are now reviewing CCTV footage and have launched a follow-up operation to identify and arrest the suspects.
