Comedian and actress Pokwang publicly apologized after her brother slapped a man who was pushing a cart with his daughter in Antipolo City.

Just a reminder: Pedro’s mistake should not be blamed on Juan. Although we may share the same last name, it doesn’t mean we think alike or make the same choices every day.)" said Pokwang in a video posted on her Facebook.
Pasensya ka na (I apologize to everyone who was involved in the quarrel with him, especially to his daughter. I’m truly sorry, and I will come visit you. Please wait—your Aunt Pokwang will be there. I’m sorry)," she added.
Aside from expressing her sympathy to the people involved, the comedian also mentioned that she is not in favor of what her brother did and will not be tolerated.
I am not happy about what happened, and I do not side with my brother. I am a mother as well, after all)," she said.
The video also shows Pokwang calling the attention of the netizens who are posting their family photos and saying bad things about them.
Isa lang po ang may kasalanan, kapatid ko, pero nasaan po 'yung privacy 'yung protection po ng pamilya ko (I just want to remind everyone who keeps posting pictures of my family: this is considered cyberbullying and cyber libel. You shared the faces of my entire family, but only one person is at fault—my brother. What about my family’s privacy and protection?)" she said.
At the end of the video, Pokwang reiterated that while she does not condone her brother’s actions, people should be mindful and cautious about what they say regarding her family.
I'm not siding with my brother, but I hope you're careful with your posts and comments)" Pokwang added.
