No. 9 most wanted person in Muntinlupa arrested

Muntinlupa police arrested a 57-year-old fish vendor who was convicted by a court for possession of illegal drugs on Dec. 15.

The police identified the arrested person as Hinayon, a resident of Barangay San Vicente, San Pedro, Laguna, listed as the No. 9 most wanted person (station level) for December.

Operatives from the Muntinlupa police’s Warrant and Subpoena unit served the warrant of arrest against him.

The warrant of arrest for service of sentence was issued by Presiding Judge Liezel Aquiatan of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 205 on Dec. 9.

The warrant was for a case for violation of Section 13 (possession of dangerous drugs during parties, social gatherings or meetings) under Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

Following his arrest, Hinayon was brought to the Barangay Putatan Health Center for physical and medical examination and was turned over to the custodial facility of the Muntinlupa police.
