'Abusado': Terry Ridon wants Hilux driver's license revoked for good

Bicol Saro Party-list Rep. Terry Ridon is prodding authorities to revoke for good the Land Transportation Office (LTO) license of Carlo Tano Subong, sibling of showbiz personality "Pokwang", after the latter went viral for hitting a cart pusher in front of his little daughter.
"Maraming salamat Land Transportation Office - Philippines sa agarang aksyon sa road rage incident ni Carlo Subong (Thank you very much to LTO - Philippines for its quick action on the road rage incident involving Carlo Subong)," Ridon wrote in a Facebook post on Monday night, Dec. 15.
"Sa pinakamadaling panahon, mga mungkahing aksyon: a. Lifetime LTO license revocation ni Carlo Tano Subong, b. Kasong kriminal sa pambabatok at grave threats sa mag-amang nagkakariton, c. Impounding ng Toyota Hilux na pagmamay-ari ni Carlo Subong," the lawyer-legislator said.
(At the soonest possible time, here are suggested actions: a. Lifetime LTO license revocation of Carlo Tano Subong, b. Criminal case for hitting and giving grave threats to the father and daughter with the push cart, c. Impounding of the Toyota Hilux owned by Carlo Subong.)
The cart pusher--wearing a green shirt--reportedly caught Subong's ire after he made contact with the Hilux with his cart.
"Kailanman, hindi dapat pinapalagpas ang pang-aabuso sa mga ordinaryong Pilipino (The abuse of ordinary Filipinos must never be ignored)," said Ridon, chairman of the House Committee on Public Accounts.
Assistant Secretary Markus Lacanilao has directed the LTO–Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) to issue a show cause order (SCO) against the driver of the Hilux (plate no.NHU-9321), who turned out to Subong.
Subong was also slapped with a 90-day preventive suspension of his driver’s license.
Ridon earlier condemned the Hilux driver's actions in an earlier post, wherein he shared the viral video. "Hahanapin kita pre (I will look for you)," he said, in reference to the driver.
