Manalo warmly welcomed in return to hometown

Miss Universe 2025 third runner-up Maria Ahtisa Manalo was honored when she returned to her hometown of Candelaria, Quezon on Monday, Dec. 15.
Manalo was commended by the municipal and provincial governments and her alma mater, the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation-Candelaria, represented by Dr. Amelita Balagtas.
Candelaria Mayor George Suayan and wife Emma, alongside local and provincial officials, welcomed Manalo, who thanked the people of Candelaria for their support.
Suayan said the municipality is proud of Manalo for representing the country in the recent 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand.
House Deputy Speaker Rep. David C. Suarez has filed House Resolution No. 514 commending Manalo for representing the Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant.
