The Police Regional Office-3 has activated its security and public safety measures for the holiday season under “Ligtas Paskuhan 2025.”
PRO-3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. has directed all city and provincial directors to sustain police-focused operations and heightened vigilance.
Starting Dec. 16, police will be strategically deployed in Police Assistance Desks (PADs), places of worship, major thoroughfares, transport hubs, commercial areas, and tourist destinations.
Additional deployments will be implemented on Dec. 24, Christmas Eve, and 31, New Year’s Eve, in designated community fireworks display and firecracker zone areas.
Police are backed by more than 500 force multipliers from concerned units and advocacy groups.
The PRO-3 has intensified its anti-criminality information drive in barangays and business districts, complemented by the deployment of motorist assistance hubs with route safety marshals on major highways and secondary roads.
These measures will remain in effect until Jan. 6.
“Our goal is simple: A safe, orderly, and joyful holiday season for every Central Luzon resident,” Peñones said.
