P13.6-M shabu seized in Cagayan de Oro buy-bust

BUTUAN CITY – Police seized two kilos of suspected shabu valued at P13.6 million in a buy-bust operation in Cagayan de Oro City on Saturday, Dec. 13.
A suspected drug pusher was arrested in the operation.
The contraband recovered from the 41-year-old high-value individual was hidden inside a Chinese tea bag.
Also recovered from the suspect were a weighing scale, a durabox, an ecobag, drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
Police said it was the third time the suspect had been arrested. He had faced theft and illegal drug cases and was released only last year.
The suspect’s supply allegedly originated from Lanao del Sur province.
He is under the custody of the Cagayan de Oro police for proper disposition and faces appropriate cases.
