2 drug pushers yield P11.4-M shabu, gun in Rizal buy-bust
Around P11,400,336 worth of shabu was confiscated from two alleged drug pushers and tagged as high-value individuals (HVIs) during a buy-bust operation in Binangonan, Rizal early Sunday, Dec. 14.
The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) identified the suspects as “Labo” and “Beki,” a newly identified HVI. They were arrested during the operation conducted by the Binangonan Municipal Police Station (MPS) in Barangay Mambog at 2:45 a.m.
Authorities recovered from them a gray plastic toolbox that contains 10 plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 1,676.52 grams. A caliber .38 pistol was also recovered from “Labo.”
The suspects are currently detained at the Binangonan Municipal Police Station (MPS) custodial facility and will face charges for violations of Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Republic Act No. 10591.
