Tiffany Young, Byun Yo-han tell fans about their marriage plans: 'Someone I truly love'
K-pop artist and actress Tiffany Young, 36, and Korean actor Byun Yo-han, 39, wrote letters to fans about their relationship and marriage plans.
On Dec. 13, Byun Yo-han’s agency, Team Hope, confirmed their relationship after a Korean media outlet reported that the two stars will be getting married next fall.
"The two actors are currently seriously dating with marriage in mind. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but both actors have expressed their desire to be the first to announce it to their fans once it is decided,” the agency said.
Tiffany and Byun Yo-han first met when they worked together in the Disney+ original “Uncle Samsik,” which premiered in May last year. It was reported that their relationship later developed.
Byun Yo-han and Tiffany posted handwritten letters on Instagram addressed to their fans.
In his letter, Byun Yo-han wrote, “I hope all of my BANHAN are doing well and feeling at peace. As winter settles in, it feels as though the world around us has grown quieter and more gentle. I hope this season allows the warmth around you to feel even clearer in the cold air. Please take good care of yourselves, even from the smallest cold, and I truly wish you comfort and peace in both your hearts and your days.”
He added, “When I think about how you have walked beside me—celebrating, encouraging, and loving me through every part of my journey—I can only lower my head in gratitude. Thank you, truly and deeply. Because you, my BANHAN, are the very first people I wanted to share this with, I am writing this letter today. I admit I feel careful and a little nervous, wondering how you might receive this news.”
The actor said they will get married but there are no specific details yet. He described Tiffany as “someone I truly love.”
“I am currently in a meaningful relationship with someone, with the intention of marriage. Nothing has been decided in detail yet, but what mattered most to me was telling you first. I have met someone who makes me want to become a better person, someone whose smile gently warms my heart when I am tired—someone I truly love,” he said.
He added, “I promise to grow into an actor who can share warmer emotions with you—allowing joy to become something healthy and lasting, and even sadness to become a place of growth and maturity. I hope you laugh often, and that happiness finds you wherever your steps may lead. I will continue to work even harder so that I can greet you through stories and performances that bring you comfort and joy. Thank you always, from my heart.”
In her letter, Tiffany said of Byun Yo-han, "I am currently in a serious relationship with someone with good intentions, with the intention of marriage. He is a person who gives me stability and allows me to look at the world with a positive and hopeful perspective."
"While a specific schedule hasn't been set yet, if any important decisions are made in the future, I will personally share them with my fans first and foremost. I sincerely thank you for supporting me for so long and for always watching over me with such warm eyes. I will never forget that feeling, cherish it, and will continue to do my best in my position to repay your kindness,” she said.
Tiffany debuted as a member of K-pop group Girls’ Generation in 2007 and branched out into acting.
