Manalo returns home to Quezon

Miss Universe third runner-up Maria Ahtisa Manalo returns to her hometown Candelaria, Quezon on Monday, Dec. 15.

The local government unit has prepared a warm welcome for Manalo, days after the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand.

Manalo will be welcomed at the municipal hall grounds and a program and parade will be held afterwards.

She will pay a courtesy call on Candelaria Mayor George “Ogie” Suayan and Vice Mayor Ireneo “Boyong” Boongaling.

“Let us come together to welcome and celebrate our very own Miss Universe 2025 third runner-up Maria Ahtisa Manalo as she returns to her beloved hometown, Candelaria, Quezon,” the town said in a Facebook post.

“Bayan ng Candelaria, ipakita natin ang buong suporta at bigyan natin ang ating reyna ng pinakamasayang pagtanggap na nararapat sa kanya,” it added.

“Candelaria, I am coming home. Thank you to the people who made this possible and for always celebrating my victory since 2018,” Manalos said in an FB post.
