Cops nab hitman in Quezon

CANDELARIA, Quezon – Police said an alleged gun-for-hire was apprehended during a manhunt operation in Barangay Masalukot II, this town, on Tuesday morning, Dec. 9.

The suspect, Vic, 64, was listed as the Calabarzon region’s No. 1 most wanted person for his alleged involvement in three murders in Quezon province. 

Vic was arrested on warrants of arrest for two  murder and one homicide cases issued by Lucena City, Quezon courts on July 15, 2022; January 5, 2024; and May 7, 2024, respectively.

The suspect was accused of involvement in three shooting incidents on Sept. 17, 2021; Nov. 3, 2022, and July 19, 2023, in Quezon province.

All of his victims were killed.

Operating units were cited for their achievement.
