Woman arrested for mauling husband's alleged lover

LIPA CITY, Batangas – A 28-year-old woman was arrested for mauling a 25-year-old woman who allegedly had an affair with her husband in Barangay Latag here on Thursday.
Police identified the victim as Arian.
Arian was inside her room when the suspect Dine arrived seething with anger.
Dine confronted Arian over her alleged illicit relationship with her husband.
The suspect suddenly mauled the victim who sustained injuries.
Dine grabbed a knife and attempted to stab Arian but she managed to block the attack.
Neighbors heard the commotion and were able to pacify the suspect.
The victim was taken to a hospital here. Police arrested the suspect who faces a frustrated homicide case.
