The Philippine National Police (PNP) distributed Christmas presents to police personnel recovering at the PNP General Hospital, Camp Crame in Quezon City during the “Pamaskong Handog 2025: Alay ni TSIP Para sa mga Pasyente ng PNPGH” gift-giving activity.
A total of 40 hospitalized PNP personnel received Noche Buena package and financial assistance during the event held last Wednesday, Dec. 10. The activity was organized in partnership with the PNP Officers’ Ladies Club Foundation, Inc. (OLCFI) and supported by the PNP Health Service.
“This activity is inspired by our commitment to malasakit, truly caring for our fellow PNP members. Through this simple gesture, we want them to feel that they are not alone in their journey toward recovery,” Nartatez said on Friday, Dec. 12.
Mrs. Mary Rose O. Nartatez, the acting PNP chief’s wife and national adviser of the PNP OLCFI, represented him in personally delivering the gifts and messages of hope to the beneficiaries.
In a separate gift-giving activity led by Nartatez, 40 personnel battling various medical conditions received Christmas gifts during the Love and Blessing (LAB) in Action: Offering Love and Care for Every PNP Family” at Camp Crame.
Nartatez paid tribute to the strength and dedication of the beneficiaries.
He said the activities embody the unity and genuine care that the organization continues to uphold as a “family-oriented” organization.
He said the initiatives also reflect the vision of a “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas.”
According to Nartatez, building a modern PNP is not just about reforms in operations or efficiency but also about caring for the people behind the uniform.
He mentioned that gift-giving is only one part of a broader commitment to support PNP personnel.
“Our real commitment is through continuous support from the PNP Health Service, counseling, and personal engagement from leadership. As we always say, we will not leave them, they are not alone, and we stand with them throughout their healing journey,” he added.
