'Finding Santos' wins at the 2025 Seoul Global Movie Awards

The Philippines-Korea film “Finding Santos” won at the 2025 Seoul Global Movie Awards held on Dec. 10 at Seoul Dragon City in Seoul.

“Finding Santos” bagged the Best Asian Film award at the ceremony. The film stars Theo Jang, Maegan Gabrielle Medina of YGIG, Park Seongin, and Hans Galendez.

Medina and SBTown’s Geong Seong Han attended the ceremony and received the award.

“A huge congratulations to our very own Gabby, Maegan Gabrielle Medina, and Mr. Geong Seong Han, the producer and true mind behind Finding Santos, who received the award together on the stage of the Seoul Dragon City Hotel's Halla Hall!” the “Finding Santos” account posted on X.

It added, “To our incredible cast and crew: Thank you so much for your passion and dedication! This victory belongs to everyone who believed in our story. From the vibrant heart of Korea, this award travels straight to the Philippines! Thank you!”

Lee Hye Young won best actress while Sul Kyung-gu won best actor. “My Daughter Is a Zombie” won best picture.

K-pop girl group TWICE member Dahyun took home the best new actress award while Cha Woo-min won best new actor.

Park Hee-soon won best supporting actor and Han Ji-eun bagged the best supporting actress award.
