2 high-value suspects yield P1.3-M shabu in Dasmariñas
CAVITE – Authorities arrested two drug suspects and confiscated more than P1.3 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Dasmariñas City on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
Cavite Police Provincial Office (Cavite PPO) identified the suspects as alias Jen and alias Artur, both high-value individuals and residents of Dasmariñas.
Both were caught in the act of selling illegal drugs.
Seized during the operation were two pieces of knot-tied plastic bags containing a white crystalline substance weighing approximately 200 grams.
Also confiscated were two heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 2 grams, valued at P13,600.
Both suspects are facing drug charges.
In a statement, Cavite PPO Acting Director Col. Ariel R. Red commended the successful operation of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU).
“Every successful arrest is a step toward safer neighborhoods and better futures for our youth. I commend our PDEU and PIU teams for their professionalism and dedication,” Red said.
