'Spaces of True Japanese Excellence': Panasonic brings an immersive exhibit to Metro Manila
By MBrand
When most Filipinos think of Japan, they think high quality. True enough, the Japan Quality logo is an iconic stamp of assurance for authentic Japan-made and designed products including Panasonic appliances. With it comes the promise of durability, efficiency, and dependability for the most discerning consumers. Panasonic has taken this a step further by fostering more than 100 Years of True Japanese Excellence in creating and upgrading Filipino homes for over 58 years.

To celebrate this milestone, Panasonic brought this commitment to excellence to life through an immersive exhibit where families and friends can experience Japan Quality technologies through fun, interactive, and informative activities. "Panasonic Spaces of True Japanese Excellence" took over SM Mall of Asia from November 30 to December 2, 2025. The exhibit had mallgoers entertained with games, challenged with a stamp rally, fed with free refreshments, and sent home with special prizes for three whole days.
“We wanted to celebrate this continuous relationship and trust we have strengthened with Filipino families for over five decades by bringing Panasonic Spaces of True Japanese Excellence to them. This is our way to show how they motivate us in developing Japan Quality technologies to improve their way of lives. We designed these activities to highlight our core of bringing A Century of True Japanese Excellence in our appliances for Filipino homes,” shared Mr. Nori Kurashina, president of Panasonic Major Appliance Philippines.
The essence of true Japanese excellence
The Brand Space and Philippine Roots Exhibit
Attendees were welcomed by the philosophies of Konosuke Matsushita, founder of Panasonic, through an exhibit showcasing the brand’s history from its humble beginnings in Japan to how Panasonic appliances became a staple of Filipino homes over the years.
The Clean and Welcoming Zone highlights the Japanese high standard of cleanliness.
These philosophies guided the attendees as they are welcomed to cleanliness through the cool, refreshing space inside the Clean & Welcoming Zone featuring Panasonic Air Conditioners, Washer Dryers, and Vacuum Cleaners. Guests old & young enjoyed playing the daruma otoshi – a traditional Japanese game played with wooden blocks stacked on top of one another – for a touch of culture, clean & hygienic living, and comfort made simple.
The Natural Beauty Zone promotes Japanese beauty rituals that embrace natural and gentle care, bringing out confidence and revealing true beauty.
For personal care fans, the Natural Beauty Zone offered a chance to refresh their hair’s natural beauty in minutes with the help of Panasonic Beauty Tools. This space also gave visitors access to the Nanoe Shower experience that moisturized skin, hair, and scalp in just 10 seconds.
The Healthy Eating Zone focuses on Japanese food culture of retaining freshness and nutrients while bringing out the natural flavors of ingredients.
At the Healthy Eating Zone, health-conscious folks learned about Prime Fresh and Prime Freeze technologies—created to retain freshness and nutrients for healthy meals made easy—which are seamlessly integrated into Panasonic PRIME+ Edition Refrigerators. Attendees had their organizational skills put to the test with a fun storing challenge that had them racing to put grocery items into the right refrigerator compartments.
A taste of Japan Quality
As a reward for finishing all activities, visitors closed out their experience with more feel-good moments. At the Omotonenashi Café—meaning ‘thoughtful care’ in Japanese—guests had their pick of free matcha, coffee, or other sparkling refreshments.
The Photo Booth Area where guests posed for photos and videos.
Their next stop was the Photo Booth Area, where they posed for photos and shot videos that they shared on their socials. Lastly, no attendees went home empty-handed as they were given chances to try their luck for more prizes at the Win Prizes Zone. They also purchased new Panasonic appliances at event-exclusive discounts at the Product and Sales Zone.
