Mayor Menchie eyes better public services amid Mandaluyong's 5th ISO certification

Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos promised more programs and initiatives for the benefit of Mandaleños as the city achieves its 5th ISO certification on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

According to Abalos, the city had once again passed the audit for ISO 9001:2015 and 1:2024.

"Ito ay base sa isinagawang audit ng NQA Philippines kung saan nakita ng ahensiya na tumutupad ang pamahalaang lungsod sa pangako nitong panatilihin ang quality management system (QMS). Pinuri din sa audit ang mga parangal at pagkilalang natamo ng lungsod sa loob ng taong ito (This is based on the audit conducted by NQA Philippines where the agency found that the city government is fulfilling its commitment to maintaining a quality management system (QMS). The audit also commended the awards and recognitions the city has received this year)," Abalos said.

She also expressed her gratitude to all employees of the City Hall for their cooperation in achieving the said recognition.

An ISO certification certifies that a management system, manufacturing process, service, or documentation procedure has all the requirements for standardization and quality assurance.

ISO is an independent, non-governmental, international organization that develops standards to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of products, services, and systems.
