Prime Video announced the premiere date of the fifth and final season of Emmy-winning series “The Boys” during the CCXP Brazil where more than 3,000 fans packed the Thunder Stage.
Showrunner and executive producer Eric Kripke took the stage together with series stars Erin Moriarty, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capone, and Colby Minifie.
The panel revisited the most shocking, fan-favorite moments from the landmark series, before offering an electrifying first look at what’s ahead in the epic final chapter with the official teaser.
Season 5 of “The Boys” will premiere on April 8 next year with two episodes, followed by a new episode each week with the finale streaming on May 20.
It will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
In the final chapter of “The Boys,” it’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims.
Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp.” Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force.

“The Boys’ is based on The New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, who also serve as executive producers.
