PCG deploys buses for free rides as transport strike strands commuters
Members of transport group MANIBELA hold placards as they shout slogans during the first day of their three-day transport strike in Manila on Dec. 9, 2025. The strike, which is part of a nationwide protest, was launched to denounce what the group describes as excessive penalties, alleged extortion, and the slow processing of transport documents.
