InnerVoices ushers in the Season of Hope with 'Pasko'y Muling Darating'
After a year marked by noise and uncertainty, pop-rock band InnerVoices is inviting Filipinos to pause, breathe, and believe again through their newest Christmas single, "Pasko’y Muling Darating," officially released on Dec. 5 under UMG Philippines.

The song reminds everyone that light always returns, no matter how dark the year has been. Written and composed by founding member Rey Roland Bergado and arranged by Edward Mitra, the song opens with a tone of hopelessness before gently building into warmth and renewed faith.
The heartfelt performance for "Pasko’y Muling Darating" is led by vocalist Patrick Marcelino together with Rey Bergado and Joseph Cruz on keyboards, Rene Tecson on guitars, Alvin Herbon on bass, and Jojo Esparrago on drums.
InnerVoices came out with their first Christmas song, "Pasko Sa Ating Puso" under ABS-CBN Music, last October.
However, as Bergado pointed out: "As the Ber months went by, we noticed na parang iba yung Christmas spirit. In socmed and the news, TV, everywhere we go, all the people talked about were controversies and political issues. There's anger and also confusion. So, parang hindi nararamdaman yung Christmas. That's when we thought of releasing another holiday song,"
That realization led to "Pasko’y Muling Darating," which directly speaks of hope amid chaos. “Despite the uncertainties of the time, despite the conflicts, Christmas time is coming and everything will be fine,” said Bergado, describing the message behind the track. Where their earlier release, "Pasko Sa Ating Puso" celebrated family, twinkling lights, and togetherness, the newest song takes on a more reflective, inspirational tone.
“Pasko'y Muling Darating talks about hope despite the hardships that are being experienced by our countrymen,” he added.
InnerVoices at their regular playing ground, Hard Rock Cafe Makati
InnerVoices has so far released 11 original songs in 2025, marking one of their most productive periods yet. Of this number, nine are love songs and two are holiday songs. “As you can see, we’re not getting younger anymore. So what we have in our chest, ilalabas na namin lahat, more songs for people to hear,” he narrated.
The group's Christmas wish is simple but deeply personal, and that is for the band to flourish. This means more shows, more songs, and for their music to be heard and recognized by people.
"Most of all, sana magtagal pa kami magkakasama because we're really like family. (I hope we stay together for a long time because we're truly like family)," Bergardo shared.
At the moment, InnerVoices is keeping busy with regular performances at popular venues such as Hard Rock Café Makati and Manila, Bar IX, Aromata, and Noctos Bar. Although they have long been a staple in Metro Manila’s live music circuit, the band says their ultimate goal has always been to build a legacy of original Pilipino music.
“We’re grateful for all the places that allow us to perform, but ultimately, it’s the original songs that we really want to promote,” Bergado said.
With two Christmas songs released this season, a growing catalog of originals and a planned EP in 2026, InnerVoices is steadily carving its own place not just as performers, but as storytellers of the Filipino emotional experience - one season, one song at a time.
