GOSSIP GIRL: Top three countries that K Brosas wishes to visit again
Travelling with K Brosas to Dubai for our concert gave me the rare chance to sit her down for a long, exciting conversation, because the celebrated singer had so much good news she wanted to share.

“Giselle, I’m still on cloud nine!” she laughed, referring to her wildly successful 25th Anniversary Concert. She repeatedly credited the triumph to her management team: Cornerstone Entertainment, MQuest Ventures, and of course, Direk John Pratts, whose creative direction gave the show its stage rhythm.
"And then just recently, I received news that I was nominated for best for my performance in “Ang Himala ni Niño” in the Asian Television Awards. I want to congratulate Taiwanese actress Lei Du on winning the best supporting actress award at the ATA for her role in Illuminating Hearts. Just being nominated in such a prestigious award-giving body is already an honor for me," K humbly tells Gossip Girl.
This 2025 alone, the singer-turned-actress received nominations and wins from various award-giving bodies, including the 10th Platinum Stallion National Media Awards for TV Actress of the Year (win) and the 28th KBP Golden Dove Award (nominee for Best Supporting Actress) — all for her raw, emotional, and deeply human performance in the hit series “Ang Himala ni Niño.”As our boarding time drew closer, our conversation drifted to something that always lights her up — travel.

K has been to 46 countries, a feat she wears with pride but no arrogance. “Travelling alone without any companions changed me. It reboots my soul,” she explained. “When I travel by myself, walang arte, walang makeup, walang kailangan i-prove. I can observe the people, the culture, the food, and vlog it," K narrates.
When I asked her to name the top three countries she longs to return to, she didn’t even pause. "No. 3 is Spain. I have been to Madrid, Toledo, and Avila. Maybe if I have more time, I can go to Compostela and do the Camino de Santiago. But the walk lasts for seven days to six weeks, depending on your starting point. No. 2 is Greece. I love the food and the culture in Greece. Many only know Athens and Santorini, but there are so many islands in Greece I have not explored, like Chania, Rhodes, and Naxos. Picture a beach tour for Day 1 and a mountain or volcano tour for Day 2. I definitely have to come back. And the top destination that I need to go back to is Bhutan. It’s like a different planet. They have the cleanest air because it is the world’s only carbon-negative country. Everything is about mindfulness and balance. I just felt so much peace there. Pag-uwi ko, parang nag-retreat ako nang hindi ko sinasadya. (When I got home, it felt like I had retreated without even realizing it.)"
By the time our flight was called, I realized that K Brosas — the fierce, funny performer the public knows — is also a woman shaped by gratitude, curiosity, and quiet resilience. And as I watched her board the plane with her signature confident stride, I knew one thing: K Brosas isn’t just celebrating 25 years in show business; she's also travelling. Forty-six countries. She's just getting started.
