The Southern Police District confiscated P1.36 million worth of shabu and arrested four suspects in a buy-bust operation in Taguig.
Members of SPD's District Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the operation in Barangay New Lower Bicutan on Dec. 5.
During the operation, they seized 200 grams of shabu and arrested drug suspects classified as high-value individuals. They were identified as alias Geng, 28, female; alias Gabriel, 32, male; alias Ronel, 38, male; and lias Fahad, 30, male.
"This massive haul and the arrest of four High-Value Individuals demonstrate the SPD's unwavering dedication to a drug-free community. We will continue to intensify our operations to ensure that major drug syndicates are dismantled and that illegal drugs are removed from our streets," said Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, SPD district director.
The police will file a criminal complaint against the suspects for violation of Sections 5 (sale) and Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) under Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
