The Las Piñas city government strengthened its maternal health services with the launch of “MamaALAGA! Care for Soon-to-be-Mommy Para Safe din si Baby!” program offering check-ups for pregnant women with sensitive or high-risk conditions.
Las Piñas Mayor April Aguilar said the Las Piñas City Lying-In Clinic is offering checkups and consultations for women who are under high-risk pregnancy every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The clinic accommodates pregnant women with a history of uterine surgery, gynecological concerns, high-risk pregnancies, and those with existing health conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, heart ailments, and other complications.
Mothers who wish to avail of the services are reminded to bring their voter’s registration record, green card, referral from the health center, Philhealth, and any previous ultrasound and laboratory results to ensure proper assessment.
The mayor said that the program is part of the city government’s continuing commitment to provide safe, accessible, and quality healthcare services for pregnant women in the community.
"The program ensures that our expectant mothers—especially those with delicate conditions—receive the proper care they need for their safety and for their babies," Aguilar said.
