BANGUED, Abra – The bodies of two suspected ‘’salvage’’ or summary execution victims were discovered in Barangay San Marcial, San Isidro town, Abra province on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
Police Capt. Ronaldo Caguioa, San Isidro police chief, identified the victims as Rajani “Batang Abra” Domine, 31, and Bong Rhendall Barbosa, 20, both residents of Bangued.
Caguioa said Barbosa’s body was discovered by a couple. Police found three fired cartridge cases and the body of Domine while searching the area.
Authorities are conducting follow-up investigation.
Meanwhile, a 47-year-old woman was arrested after drug paraphernalia and shabu were discovered in her possession during an inspection at the Santiago City Male Dormitory on Sunday, Dec. 7.
Police said the suspect, Jen, a household helper, yielded a coin purse containing a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu and valued at P2,270.
Jen was about to visit a relative when she was apprehended.
The suspect and pieces of evidence were taken to the Santiago City Police Office Station 4. She faces appropriate charges.
