'Wilma' moves west-northwest over Samar coastal waters — PAGASA

Tropical Depression Wilma moved west-northwestward on Sunday morning, Dec. 7, while hovering over the coastal waters of Samar, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its Tropical Cyclone Bulletin No. 21 issued at 8 a.m., PAGASA said Wilma’s center was estimated over the coastal waters of Almagro, Samar at around 7 a.m., based on data from the Masbate and Laoang Doppler Weather Radars.
It added that the weather disturbance maintained maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center.
PAGASA noted that Wilma is moving west-northwest at 15 kph, with strong winds extending outward up to 150 kilometers from its center.
