(DOST-PAGASA)
Tropical Depression Wilma weakened into a low-pressure area (LPA) on Sunday morning, Dec. 7, while remaining inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported.
In its latest advisory as of 8 a.m., PAGASA reported that the weather system, previously monitored as “Wilma” (12a), has dissipated below tropical cyclone intensity.
The bureau said it will continue to track the remnant LPA for any potential development or lingering effects on local weather conditions.
