After a remarkable year brimming with unforgettable milestones, power couple Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano warmly welcomed their media friends to a cozy Thanksgiving celebration.

Amid a relaxed atmosphere filled with laughter and heartfelt stories, they shared their gratitude for the blessings they’ve received, mused about what lies ahead, and unveiled the thrilling adventures they eagerly anticipate in the upcoming year.
Luis spoke about the concept of “redirection” as a form of protection against something you’re not meant to be. Asked whether he wanted to enter politics again, Luis shared, “Honestly, hindi ko na naiisip. After everything we went through, everything that’s going on... para sa akin, I found my niche once again.”
He added, “Right after the campaign, the election. For a while, I was lost. Pero after, everything fell into place right away. Ayoko na sayangin din ’yun kasi not everyone is given a second chance na manumbalik sa industriya. (I don't want to waste that because not everyone is given a second chance to return to the industry.)"
“As of now, my main focus is balik sa pag hohost and taking care of the family. But marami pa rin akong itutulong din naman sa Batangas. (As of now, my main focus is back to hosting and taking care of the family. But I still have a lot to help in Batangas)," Luis shared, describing his current focus and direction.
For Jessy, gratitude is in full swing—especially after her much-anticipated on-screen comeback through "Sins of the Father." And while the wins keep coming, she says there’s still so much to be thankful for: “I can confidently say na nahanap na namin [Luis] yung tamang pattern para sa aming dalawa, sa pamilya namin, and individually. (I can confidently say that we [Luis] have found the right pattern for both of us, our family, and individually.)"
She also shared, “I’m grateful to ABS-CBN also, akalain nyo nakabalik pa ako, ’di ba? After six long years, taray, aakting ulit ang Jessy Mendiola. Napatunayan ko rin sa sarili ko—nakapagtapos ako ng isang show. (I’m grateful to ABS-CBN also, you thought I was back, right? After six long years, Jessy Mendiola is acting again. I also proved to myself—I was able to finish a show.)"

As the holiday season draws near, Jessy shared her heartfelt wish for everyone: “Peace for my family, my husband, and for everyone else. But marami rin talagang nangyayari ngayon. Sana amidst all the chaos, marami pang hindi nakakabangon sa mga calamities. Sana maramdaman nila yung warmth... yung pagmamahal. (But there is also a lot going on right now. I hope amidst all the chaos, there are still many who have not recovered from the calamities. I hope they can feel the warmth... the love.)"
When asked about her own wishes, Jessy smiled and said, “For myself, wala na ako masyadong hilingin pa, nagpapasalamat na lang din ako... talagang masaya po ako. (For myself, I don't have much to ask for, I'm just grateful... I'm really happy.)"
Looking ahead, Luis teases what 2026 has in store for him: “Good situation ang mangyayari next year dahil may babalik akong daily game show, nandiyan pa rin ang Rainbow Rumble, at meron akong isa pang gameshow na gusto pang gawin. Yung next year, ang tinatry gawin, two to three shows. (A good situation will happen next year because I will have a daily game show back, Rainbow Rumble is still there, and I have another game show that I want to do. Next year, what I'm trying to do is two to three shows.)"
As the final days of 2025 come to a close, Jessy and Luis pause to reflect on their extraordinary journey—overflowing with gratitude for the invaluable lessons learned, the second chances that reshaped their paths, and the unwavering support of those who have walked alongside them.
