San Beda and College of St. Benilde duke it out one last time in Season 101 for the last Finals berth in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Sunday, Dec. 7.
With the Letran Knights securing their spot in the championship series, the Red Lions and the Blazers chase the second ticket in their 2:30 p.m. duel which could go down the wire with all the action and drama happening on the floor.
With the momentum shifting to Benilde's side after its 77-75 win last Friday, San Beda faces more uncertainty with Agjanti Miller still doubtful for the do-or-die game.
According to an NCAA broadcast report, Miller was sidelined due to a right knee contusion that was evidently exploited by the Blazers in Game 2.
In Game 1, the San Beda hotshot fired 29 points to spearhead the Red Lions’ 91-72 demolition of Benilde.
Meanwhile in the juniors division, Emilio Aguinaldo and Letran collide at 12 p.m., while Mapua and Arellano raise the curtain of the triple-header at 9:30 a.m.
