EastWest gathered its valued clients for the 2nd EastWest Golf Invitational held at the Mimosa Plus Golf Course on Friday, Dec. 5.
Now an annual signature event, the tournament plays an important role on how EastWest builds stronger relationships with its clients through shared experiences that go beyond traditional banking.
The tournament brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, executives, and media partners for a day of friendly competition, networking, and leisure in one of the country’s premier golf destinations. With participants from various industries and segments, the event created an easy space for meaningful conversations in a relaxed, premium venue.
“By creating opportunities to connect, build trust, and enjoy shared experiences, events like this align with how we want EastWest to grow alongside our clients and partners,” said Jerry Ngo, CEO of EastWest. “The Golf Invitational lets us meet our clients in a different setting—one that encourages real connections and conversations beyond everyday transactions.”
Guests enjoyed a ceremonial tee-off, 18-hole tournament play, and post-round celebrations featuring raffle prizes, special recognitions, and a gathering among peers. The event also highlighted the synergy within the Filinvest Group —particularly meaningful this year as Filinvest Development Corporation (FDC) celebrates its 70th anniversary— with Mimosa Plus, an FDC property, providing world-class backdrop for the occasion.
“This annual gathering is a tradition we’re proud to continue,” added Ngo. “It represents the essence of EastWest—personal, warm, and committed to making banking easier and more meaningful for our clients.”
The 2nd EastWest Golf Invitational wrapped up with the awarding of champions across the different divisions and special categories. With strong feedback from participants, EastWest is set to keep this annual event as a key part of its client engagement calendar.
