PAL's Palau flights take off March 29, 2026; introductory fares start at $499
Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) will begin direct flights to the Pacific island of Palau, aiming to expand its international reach and presence in the Pacific region.
Lucio Tan-led airline will launch the new flight service connecting Manila and Palau (Koror) starting March 29, 2026.
PAL will offer flights every Wednesday and Sunday, departing Manila at 10:15 p.m. and arriving in Koror at 2:00 a.m. local time the following day. Return flights from Palau to Manila will operate on Mondays and Thursdays, taking off at 3:10 a.m. local time and landing in the Philippine capital at 4:55 a.m.
The new route will be serviced by PAL’s 199-seater dual-class Airbus A321ceo.
PAL President Richard Nuttall said the route provides “seamless air connectivity” to other major domestic and international cities via the Manila hub. “Creating flights to this Pacific island will stimulate tourism travel among beach lovers and the diving community,” Nuttall said in the statement. Koror is known as the gateway to Palau’s marine attractions, including dive sites, lagoons, and coral reefs.
To promote the launch, PAL is offering special introductory roundtrip base fares for economy starting at $499 and business class at $1,239. These fares are available until Dec. 18 for travel starting March 2026 and beyond.
The new Palau route complements PAL’s existing Western Pacific service. The carrier is also set to launch thrice-weekly nonstop flights between Cebu and Guam starting Dec. 16, establishing the only direct air link between the two destinations. PAL currently flies to the American territory from Manila.
Including Guam, PAL serves eight destinations across North America, with nonstop flights to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, Toronto, and Honolulu.
PAL currently operates to 31 domestic and 37 international destinations across Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East.
