Central Luzon police’s intensified anti-drug campaign led to the arrest of a high-value individual (HVI) and the seizure of 450 grams of suspected shabu worth P3,060,000 in Barangay Caypombo, Santa Maria, Bulacan, on Thursday, Dec. 4.
According to the police report, a buy-bust operation was carried out by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) in coordination with the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit, Bulacan PIT East, Regional Intelligence Unit 3, and PDEA Bulacan.
The suspect was identified as alias Louie, 48, a resident of the said village, who had long been monitored due to his involvement in illegal drug activities.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. lauded the operating teams, reaffirming the police’s commitment to intelligence-driven operations under the PNP’s Focused Agenda.
“We will continue to disrupt drug activities, safeguard our barangays, and deliver Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman for a safer Central Luzon,” he said.
PRO3 vowed to sustain its momentum through strong inter-agency coordination and proactive law enforcement.
