Mayor Isko pledges full medical aid: 'I won't hesitate to spend millions to save lives'

Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno" Domagoso vowed unwavering support for residents in need of medical care, saying he will never hesitate to spend millions if it means saving lives, as he personally distributed financial assistance to patients under the city’s Kaagapay Program.
This was the assurance of Domagoso to patients who received medical assistance through the City of Manila’s Kaagapay Program.
He personally handed over checks to beneficiaries, with amounts ranging from eighty thousand to one million pesos, depending on each patient’s medical needs.
The city allocated a total of five million four hundred eighty thousand three hundred twenty-four pesos in assistance for eleven patients scheduled to undergo various operations.
“Give thanks to God, go to church, and be grateful to the taxpayers of Manila, I simply manage the resources well,” the mayor added.
