Malabon gov't suspends classes on Dec. 5 for Teacher's Day

The Malabon City government announced on Thursday, Dec. 4, the suspension of classes in all public and private schools in the city on Friday, Dec. 5, in observance of Malabon Teachers’ Day.
According to the city government, the class suspension is in line with City Ordinance No. 31-2005, which mandates the annual celebration honoring the city’s teachers for their dedication and service to the youth and the education sector.
The observance highlights the local government’s recognition of educators' vital role in shaping learners and instilling values that contribute to community development.
It also expressed gratitude to all teachers in Malabon for their guidance, compassion, and tireless commitment to nurturing the next generation.
