This holiday season, Lexus brings its signature philosophy of artistry, refinement, and human-centric design to life with “Crafted for the Season: A Holiday Showcase,” a two-day experiential pop-up event at Mitsukoshi BGC on December 6–7.
The event is designed to immerse guests in the Lexus way of thoughtful hospitality through hands-on creative sessions that highlight craftsmanship, elegance, and meaningful design. Each curated workshop invites participants to slow down, create with intention, and celebrate the season through artistic expression.
Christmas Ornament Making Workshop
Guided by artistic facilitators from Pottery Sessions, guests can participate in hand-painting ceramic Christmas ornaments and explore color, detail, and finishing techniques that can elevate a simple piece into a refined holiday keepsake. The session celebrates the art of mindful creation while allowing participants to bring home personalized ornaments that capture the kind of thoughtful artistry that is meaningful to Lexus.
Participants will be guided step-by-step in painting their own ceramic Christmas ball ornament, guided by the facilitators in using refined techniques and fine detailing, demonstrating how thoughtful design can bring an ornament to life. The ornament is then given final touches and placed on a simple display to allow guests to appreciate the character and craftsmanship of their work.
This workshop happens on December 6, from 1:30pm-2:30pm.
“The Art of Adornment” Christmas Tree Decorating Workshop
On the second day, guests can gather around a live demonstration where they could witness how thoughtful curation through ornaments, ribbons, lights, and texture can transform a space with elegance and holiday charm. Led by set design expert Jes Dizon, the session will put on display her inspiring skill of shaping visual worlds and storytelling to showcase the beauty of meaningful design while echoing the Lexus principle of craftsmanship where every detail has purpose.
Participants will gather around a blank Christmas tree for the demonstration where every step of the decorating process will be explained- such as lighting, fluffing, to correctly matching ornaments and ribbons. The aim being to create a Christmas tree design wherein every step of the process is thoughtful, purposeful, and creates a design that can transform a space with elegance and holiday charm.
Just as Lexus masterfully crafts every vehicle with precision and passion, “Crafted for the Season” invites guests to experience the same approach to design that could make the coming celebrations for the season more impactful.
This workshop happens on December 7, from 1:30pm-2:30pm.
