CAVITE – Two minors died in drowning incidents in Dasmariñas City and Naic on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
A report from the Police Regional Office 4A identified the first victim as alias Kervin, a 12-year-old resident of Dasmariñas.
One of the victim's friends sought help upon seeing him immersed in a waterway in Barangay Salawag.
A witness pulled the boy out of the water, but he had already drowned.
In Naic, a 16-year-old boy identified as alias Prince drowned while swimming with a friend at the Timalan Balsahan River in Barangay Timalan Balsahan.
The victim was reportedly swept into a deeper portion of the river and drowned.
He was rushed to the hospital for treatment but was declared dead on arrival.
