The facility, located within the Valenzuela City Emergency Hospital (VCEH), can provide an average of 350 hemodialysis treatments per month.
The city government said the center meets national safety and clinical standards, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.
Under the partnership, the city government provided the site and assisted with the construction of the facility, while AC Health and Healthway supplied the medical equipment and handled day-to-day operations.
The project aims to make dialysis more accessible to patients with chronic kidney disease, reduce referrals to hospitals outside the city, and cut both travel time and costs for families.
Mayor Weslie “Wes” Gatchalian led the opening ceremony, together with Healthway’s Dr. Shirard Leonardo Adiviso, AC Health Group Chief Operating Officer Paolo Borromeo, and Eugene Huang.
The city government said the new center will enable more residents to receive life-saving dialysis treatment closer to home and benefit from existing national and local health assistance programs.
