Mystery lady leaves P5-M suspected shabu on rooftop in Gen. Trias
CAVITE – Around P5.4 million worth of suspected shabu was discovered at the rooftop of a house in General Trias City on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
A report from the Police Regional Office 4A said a homeowner in Barangay Pasong Kawayan 2 reported the discovery to the General Trias Component City Police Station.
The reporting person said she and her children were having dinner on the ground floor of their house on the evening of Dec. 1 when they heard a loud noise coming from the master’s bedroom on the second floor.
When she went upstairs to inspect and looked out through the rooftop-access window in the bedroom, she initially saw what appeared to be a box on the roof and, upon further checking, noticed a young woman hiding between the bathroom wall and a partition along the back firewall.
The woman was described as around 20 years old and wearing a black shirt.
The woman reportedly asked for help, and the homeowner assisted her in entering the bedroom through the window. Once inside the house, the woman rushed downstairs and exited through the front door.
It was not until the morning of Dec. 2 that the homeowner again checked the rooftop area and found the same box designed to resemble a dictionary.
Upon opening it, she discovered multiple plastic bags containing a white crystalline substance. She immediately sought assistance from their barangay chairman, who then contacted the police.
Responding officers inspected the box and recovered plastic bags of suspected shabu with a total weight of almost 800 grams.
The recovered items were forwarded to the Philippine National Police Forensic Laboratory for examination.
Authorities are now investigating the identity of the woman who left the box and her possible involvement in the case.
