Man found dead inside car in Talisay City

An unidentified man was found dead inside a car parked in Barangay Efigenio Lizares, Talisay City, Negros Occidental on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
Police Major Rhazl Jim Jocson, deputy chief of the Talisay City Police Station, said the victim was wearing red shorts, had no upper garment, and estimated to be 25- to 30-years-old.
Jocson said the car owner discovered the victim’s decomposing body when he checked his vehicle after the car battery he ordered arrived.
The victim was found on the driver’s seat, but authorities could not determine if he had injuries due to his state.
Jocson said they could not tell if there was a foul play, but all angles are being explored.
He said the car has been unattended for some time because of damage from a typhoon.
Jocson said they are investigating how the victim ended up inside the car and unable to get out.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
